Shawn “Irish” Ternay knew from an early age that he wanted to be a tattoo artist. Born and raised in Rahway, New Jersey, Shawn was National Art Honor Society President and an art major in high school. After getting his first tattoo at 17 years old, Shawn was hooked and sure that a life in tattooing was for him. Unfortunately he had to put his dream on hold. He got back on track in 2008 when he moved to Sussex County and decided to make his dream a reality. After a lot of hard work and dedication his dream came true. Shawn looks at his tattoo career as proof that no matter what life throws at you, you should never give up on your dreams.
